Each piece of Virginia Knight Jewelry is meticulously hand fabricated in our small studio in Durham, North Carolina. Virginia’s style incorporates recycled metals with ethically sourced Montana sapphires, fine diamonds as well as hand picked cabochons and alternative materials.

Virginia Knight Jewelry is best known for working with materials that are not commonly used within the jewelry industry. We take pride in working with 200+ year old hand forged nails, Alaskan Coral (discovered on the beach after a massive storm), the elusive Hawaiian Sunrise seashells, rare golden south sea pearls, meteorites forged in the heavens and beyond. These alternative and rare materials elicit a curiosity about the former lives these relics once lived. Sustainable goldsmithing practices are more important than ever which is another reason we choose to use recycled materials, and purchase ethically sourced stones (this includes the gold and silver used in every piece).

Virginia’s pieces have been seen in publications such as Condé Nast Traveler and won best use of alternative materials from Metal and Smith. We believe in providing exceptional service to our customers and love creating custom one-of-a-kind pieces. This often includes recreating new jewelry from heirloom pieces or loose stones.
